Billing Statements

The Statement Due Date listed on statements applies to current charges only. Unpaid charges from previous statements are now past due and may result in holds or cancellation of the Fall classes. Page Two includes any payments and/or charges since your last billing statement.

Payment Plans

Please compare your billing statement to your payment plan budget, make any necessary adjustments, and continue to make your monthly payments to your payment plan vendor.

Financial Aid

Estimated Aid is displayed for Fall 2023. Please be sure to complete all related “To Do” items in ConnectCarolina by August 14. See the Student Aid Disbursement Schedule for additional disbursement information. Outside scholarships will not be displayed until UNC-Chapel Hill receives the funds, but you can subtract that amount from your payment.

Refunds

Electronic Refunds will be issued for any credit balance on your student account and may be available in your electronic refund account by the first day of classes.

Departmental Funding/Scholarships

Funding typically disburses to student accounts several weeks after the semester has begun. Defer your charges by August 14 to extend the due date to September 1.

Third-Party Sponsors

Billing begins after the last day to drop a class (9/1/2023). Please be sure we have received both a completed FERPA form from the student and an authorization letter from the Sponsor.

Student Health Insurance

If you have a $1,392.40 Student Health Insurance premium charge on your account for Fall 2023, it will remain on your student account unless you waive out by September 11, 2023. It takes about a week after the waiver approval to remove the charge. For more information, go visit the Campus Health Website. All eligible students are required to have health insurance.
