All eligible students enrolled at UNC-Chapel Hill are required to have health insurance coverage.
This does not mean a student must enroll in the UNC System Student Health Insurance Plan; it means a student must provide proof of active creditable health insurance.
Submit your insurance information to waive out of the University’s mandatory health insurance by September 10, 2018 for the fall 2018 semester and by January 31, 2019 for the spring 2019 semester.
